As part of the Whistler's "Left Coast Libations" night, the James Davis quartet will be playing tunes from the famous Gerry Mulligan/Chet Baker Quartet of the '50s. I'm super excited to be playing on this gig; I've been a fan of that group for many years and it was the inspiration for the instrumentation of Many Blessings. Should be a cool and swingin' evening.
